GENERAL - Audience Research - HOW MY RESULTS WILL INFLUENCE MY PRODUCTION

I believe that the results i have found will influence my decision as it has given me an insight into what the audience already knows, i have also found out that the majority of the people i have questionned have said that they feel as though there is a cultural imperialism and that the media institutions are bias, also the media consumption suggests that the information being portrayed about Islam is very negative. I hope that my magazine which is aimed at both Non - Muslims and Muslims will give everyone an insight into the true Islam and will hopefully change their perception, my research that i have done so far has told me my specific target audience and what sort of information i should be distributing, it has also given me an idea into what my magazines front cover should look like and has generally given me good ideas, it is also thought that Muslims themselves within in Britian feel that Islam is being portrayed negatively as well through the British media. My research has also told me that i must be careful of the ethics involved and must hit the generaic conventions of a magazine.

I INTEND TO GAIN THE ATTENTION OF THE NON - MUSLIM AUDIENCE MEMBERS USING CELEBRITIES WITHIN MY MAGAZINE, I WILL ALSO USE GENERIC LANGUAGE SO THAT THE WIDER AUDIENCE UNDERSTANDS WHAT IS BEING SAID, I WILL ALSO USE MORE PICTURES AS WELL AND I WILL ALSO ANALYSE THE STYLE OF MAGAZINE BY CHOOSING MY COLOUR SCHEME VERY CAREFULLY.
