Audience Research 3 - RESULTS

The aim of this piece of research was to ask some members of the audience to tell me in ten lines what they know about Islam and how they feel the British media portrays Islam.

My results denote that the Muslims I have questioned seem to know quite a lot about Islam, however the Non – Muslims I have questioned do not seem to know very much about Islam, it also seems that both Muslims and Non – Muslims seem to agree that the British Media seems to be portraying Islam in a very negative manner and the word ‘TERRORIST’ was used nine times by nine different people in the way both Non – Muslims and Muslims felt Islam was being portrayed by the British media. This suggests that the ethics are wrong within the british media and that the representation is incorrect and this is another example of Cultural Imperialism.

Muslims must no drink alcohol or eat pigs, they are allowed to only eat Halal meat.

Muslims believe that this earthly life is a test and that they will be accounted for their actions in this earthly life on the day of judgement.
