I feel That this media institution is the correct one for my magazine, simply because this is a less serious islamic magazine and more of a lifestyle magazine, although it does cover religious topics, it also covers lifestyle issues as well, which is both important for Muslims and Non - Muslims, i feel that this is the type of magazine a Non - Muslim can pick up and feel comfortable with reading. I feel that it is aimed at both the Non - Muslim and Muslim audience and that the media consumption can be absorbed by the Muslims and the Non - Muslims as the language used is very generalised. This magazine is very good as they consider the ethics, they also have images of Human Beings on the front cover. which emphasises the less seriousness of the magazine. They also seem to hit the generic conventions of an Islamic magazine and they represent Islam and proliferate Islamic knowledge in the correct manner which is exactly what i want to aim for.

The reviews they have given it are good, the magazine went mainstream and they suggest that this was the first glossy Muslim Lifestyle magazine in britain, they suggest that it went mainstream simply due to popular demand, they also suggest that this an opportunity for Muslims to integrate with other cultures as they are seen as the 'other' and the 'outsider', this is a chance for the true Islam to come out and for diverse members of the audience to learn about Islam, they also suggest that it is aimed at all types of audience from Muslims, to Non - Muslims, women and men. This is very similar to my magazine and this is why i am choosing this media institution to base my magazine on, their ideologies are very similar to mine, both the representation and the ethics they consider are excellent, this is why i beleive that this makes a good media institution for my magazine.

This is a print screen of the online store from the Al - Jumuah website, you are able to browse the website with ease and are able to look at the online store, you can purchase books and magazines about things such as Tajweed and the Quran, this would give the audience diverse information about Islam, however i have found that the problem with this is that the language within these books and magazine seems to be aimed at the Muslim market, they seem to assume that the purchaser must be Muslim or at least have some background knowledge about Islam. This has helped me understand that i must produce a magazine that uses simple language, but is also aimed at people who are Muslim, i will produce a magazine which will be for begginers and Muslims at the same time and this will attract both the Non - Muslim readers and the Muslim readers.

This suggests that Al - Jumuah which i am not basing my magazine on looks the most expensive, so i will have to try to produce a magazine which does look expensive but also had general language.

This was my final question to the audience for my Second piece of Audience Research, i asked them which Front Cover looked the most formal, the results i recieved were that Emel looked the most formal, this denotes that the less strict magazine is the most formal, which suggests that possibly i should be looking at this institution to produce my magazine as this would suit my target audience a lot more.

I found out that all Ten Muslims I had Questioned would be interested in some kind of Islamic magazine.
Out of the Ten Non - Muslims i had questioned i found that the majority would not be interested in an Islamic magazine
Out of the ten Muslims i questionned they said that they do not know agreat deal about Islam.
Out of ten Non - Muslims nine said they know little about Islam.
I asked Ten Muslims and Non - Muslims if this magazine were to exist would they buy it nine Muslims said they would.
Five Non - Muslims said they would and five said they would not.
I asked Muslims how much they thought this magazine would cost, eight said it would cost one to two pounds.While two people said two to three pounds.
When i questionned the Non Muslims one person said 1 pound, seven said 1 to 2 pounds and two people said 2 to 3 pounds,
When i quizzed the Muslims whether they would be interested in any other type of religious magazine 4 of them said yes and 6 of them said no.
Whilst the Non - Muslims 6 said yes and 4 said no.
When i questionned ten Muslims on whether this magazine would be offensive if it were to exist 2 said yes if the information given would be represented wrongly and 8 said no.
Whlst 10 people from the Non - Muslims side said No.
Wen the audience were asked to give this type of magazine a genre on the Muslim side five said religious, three said factual, one said lifestyle and one said factual / entertainment.
O the Non - Muslim side nine said religious and one said philosophy.
To members of the muslim audience when asked suggested that they had seen a magazine of this type on the market before whilst eight had said they have not.
On the Non Muslim side all ten quizzed said that they had not seen one like it before.
